There are ways of saying goodbye to your home. Ours involved realising the garage was getting demolished too, and grabbing stuff out of it as quick as we could.
At 38 Cranford Street, they are saying Haere ra with style. Ren Bell and his artist friends have made it a work of art.
The house was open this weekend Friday 15 August to Sunday 17 August, so people could have a look. I went in a few times; each day it drew me back in.

The windows light up like stained glass.
